Bell told iPhone in Canada today that its new Giga Hub 2.0 modem , which supports Wi-Fi 7, is now available across Ontario and Quebec following its earlier limited launch.
The hardware brings Wi-Fi 7 to Bell Pure Fibre customers and is meant to deliver faster speeds, lower latency, and better performance for homes with many connected devices.
The modem is now offered to customers across Ontario and Quebec, joining the original launch areas of Toronto and the GTA, Ottawa, London, Windsor, Kitchener, Guelph, Barrie, Collingwood and Bradford, along with Quebec City and nearby regions.
Bell says Wi-Fi 7 can deliver speeds up to four times faster than Wi-Fi 6E and can handle more devices at once, though users will still need Wi-Fi 7-compatible hardware to benefit.
