Blank Park Zoo monkey sees his first snow

DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) - A baby monkey at the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines got his first taste of winter this week.

Taro was born at the zoo in June. The zoo says he was unsure at first, but eventually warmed up to the chilly change.

The zoo shared some photos of Taro in the snow with his mother, Anika.

The zoo is open year-round.
