Bethenny Frankel is a fiercely protective mama bear. And now that her 10-year-long divorce from her ex Jason Hoppy is over, she’s still doing her best to take care of her kiddos. The Real Housewives of New York City alum opened up about “the worst thing” you can do as a parent in an emotional new interview, and we couldn’t agree more.

In an appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday, Frankel shared how her daughter Bryn, 15, got her through her chaotic divorce. “It was 10 years of my life. I lost hair. I thought I would never survive it. I didn’t want to,” she said, per Business Insider. “I had to because of my daughter. I literally thought I’ll never be happy again.”

Despite how difficult it was, Frankel shared what she will “never” do: talk badly about Bry’s dad. “
