A Strictly Come Dancing star has said they’re going ‘out of their comfort zone’ in a major career update after withdrawing from the ongoing BBC series.

It’s been a year of exits on the BBC dancing competition, which began with Games of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn withdrawing days after the line-up was released. The star, who cited ‘a high level of stress and a little bit of grief’ for his decision, was replaced by Emmerdale ’s Lewis Cope.

The next star to leave was former Love Island winner Dani Dyer, who picked up an injury after dancing in the launch show with Nikita Kuzmin. Dani was soon replaced by Amber Davies , who also won Love Island, and has made it through to the quarter-finals.
