Middleton police seek witnesses to suspicious interaction with child near Knights Circle

MIDDLETON, Wis. (WKOW) — The Middleton Police Department is investigating a suspicious interaction involving a child that took place on Wednesday.

Police said an unknown man in a vehicle reportedly approached a child, initiating a suspicious verbal exchange. It happened around 3 p.m. near Knights Circle and North Westfield Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 20 and 30 years old, with a mustache and slim build, wearing a red coat and black hat.

The man was seen in a dark-colored SUV, possibly green.
