The Coachella Valley Firebirds trailed 2-1 with 30 seconds left in Wednesday's home game against the Texas Stars, so to come away with a 3-2 shootout win and two points in the standings required a lot of heroes.

With less than a minute to go, the Firebirds pulled their goalie to get a 6-on-5 advantage and it worked as Tyson Jugnauth launched a shot from in front of the goal that was redirected into the net by Logan Morrison to tie the game at 2-2 with 28 seconds left.
