The Seattle Mariners will once again have an extra pick early during the MLB Draft.
The Mariners were awarded the second Competitive Balance Round B pick in the 2026 draft earlier this week. Round B takes place following the second round of the draft.

This will be the sixth time the Mariners have had a competitive balance pick over the past eight drafts. They’ve used some those picks to select future major leaguers Isaiah Campbell and Connor Phillips, as well as farmhands Jonny Farmelo and Luke Stevenson (who are both ranked in the organization’s top 10 prospects by MLB Pipeline ).
