A Superior Court judge last week granted a motion by the prosecutor in the second-degree murder case of the alleged Sky Meadow Country Club shooter to extend the 90-day indictment window until February.
The suspect, Hunter Nadeau, 23, has been held in jail since his arrest almost immediately after he fled the country club after firing shots in the restaurant on Sept. 20, killing Robert DeCesare, 59, and injuring several others.
Meanwhile, the Sky Meadow community, especially DeCesare’s family, close friends and his many acquaintances, took another major step in recovering from the incident on Thursday, when the restaurant -- “PRIME at Sky Meadow” -- reopened.
