The FBI has arrested a Virginia man suspected of placing pipe bombs near the Democratic and Republican National Committees hours before the January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol. The suspect has been identified as Brian Cole Jr. of Woodbridge, Virginia.

The Navy admiral who reportedly issued orders for a second, follow-up strike on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean Sea, gave lawmakers on Capitol Hill a classified briefing. Admiral Frank “Mitch” Bradley told lawmakers that there was no order from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to "kill them all."
