The One Show’s Alex Jones made an announcement just minutes into the show as she confirmed that one of her co-presenters has made a comeback after a lengthy break.

During Thursday’s (December 4) episode of the BBC hit chat show, the TV presenter was back on our screens as she presented the day's top stories as well as having exclusive interviews from some famous guests.

However she wasn’t hosting alone, and she left fans delighted after announcing that one of the regular hosts, JB Gill, was back on the iconic sofa after taking a break to go on tour with his band JLS.
