Two new doctors have joined Bluewater Health’s professional staff, the hospital corporation announced this week.

Rachel Haywood, an emergency medicine physician, chose to practice at Bluewater Health for personal and professional reasons.

“As a Sarnia native, I have a deep appreciation for the vital role this hospital plays in the well-being of our community,” she said in a news release.

“The opportunity to contribute to a department known for its excellence, teamwork, and patient-centred care aligns closely with my training and values.

“Above all, I am motivated by the privilege of serving the people of Sarnia-Lambton, providing timely, compassionate care when it matters most, and helping to strengthen the continuum of emergency services in our region.”
