Brant County OPP are hoping the public can assist in locating a stolen vehicle and those responsible for its theft.

A 2025 yellow, four-door Toyota Land Cruiser SUV was reported stolen just after 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25 from a Banfield Street home in Paris.

The vehicle has a personalized licence plate MERM8, running boards on both sides, a rear hitch receiver with a black-on-black Canadian flag, a retro Toyota emblem on the front grill, a decal of a mermaid reaching for a star, and a “Mermaid endorsed 4×4” decal on the trunk.

The vehicle permit and insurance were inside the vehicle’s glovebox. A suspect vehicle in the incident appears to be a darker-coloured SUV.
