1Man attacked in broad daylight as suspects flee with belongings in Northwest DC robbery

WASHINGTON, DC – A midday walk turned violent last month when a man was assaulted and robbed by two suspects along a residential stretch of Q Street in Northwest, and now police are searching for the individuals caught on surveillance footage fleeing the scene.

The robbery occurred around 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, near the 2500 block of Q Street NW. According to officials, one suspect approached the victim on foot and physically assaulted him while a second suspect seized the man’s belongings. Both individuals then ran from the area before officers arrived.
