(CNN)– Have you ever wondered how many billionaires exist across the globe?

Thursday, Dec. 4, Swiss investment bank UBS released its annual Billionaire Ambitions report.

They found the combined wealth of billionaires worldwide reached a record high this year.

As of April 4th, there were more than 2900 billionaires with a combined wealth of nearly $16 trillion.

Just a13% increase from last year.

The United States is home to largest number of billionaires followed by China.
