MEDINA, Ohio (WOIO) - Timothy Mowery has been without running water in his home for a week after his water heater started leaking on Thanksgiving, flooding his basement.
Mowery said he immediately contacted his landlord, RE/MAX, via the tenant portal to get the water heater fixed, but has received no response.
As a result, he has been forced to shut off water to his entire house to prevent further flooding.
“It’s just, it’s been awful,” Mowery said. “To not receive any response and still have received no response, I feel, is outrageous.”
The lack of running water has left Mowery unable to shower, flush his toilet, wash dishes, or do laundry.
