DODGE CITY, Kan. (KAKE) — Dodge City is asking residents for input on potential railroad crossing improvements.

The city says the plan would improve safety, traffic flow, and emergency response across the railroad tracks.

“Everyone has experienced delays when trains block crossings, especially in downtown Dodge City,” the city said on social media . “Let’s act and make the issue of blocked crossings a thing of the past.”

The City is requesting feedback to help determine the right grade separation project as it applies for grant funding from the Federal Railroad Administration.
