CHARLESTON, S.C. — Law enforcement agencies in the two-state are urging residents to stay alert as porch pirates ramp up activity for the holidays.
Sgt. Robert Blaschke with the Mount Pleasant Police Department says many thieves target neighborhoods where deliveries are left unattended.
Officers say patrols and community awareness are the best tools to keep packages safe.
