A mystery is unfolding in Pierce Township after dozens of vultures were found dead on the campus of a school in Pierce Township, Ohio.
The Pierce Township Fire Department shared the jarring photos with WLWT, showing dozens of dead vultures on and near St. Bernadette School's athletic fields. It's believed more than 70 vultures were found dead. Advertisement

It's unclear what led to the incident, but Pierce Township Fire Chief Craig Wright told WLWT it's likely due to some type of bird flu.
