This is the time of year when many are expecting packages delivered to their doorstep. However, it’s also the time of year for porch pirates to take advantage of it.

"It can happen anywhere," Terry Winkelman said. "It’s free game. It’s open season. These people know it’s holiday time."
Winkelman comes over to his daughter’s house on South Brady Street to care for her cats while she’s away. Earlier this week, they didn’t have any food.
"She had gotten a Chewy delivery," he said. "She got cat food. Apparently, somebody came on her porch and took it."
Terry’s daughter had her cat food stolen by an unknown person earlier this week.
Multiple residents who live on the road are worried.
