KINGSTON, N.Y. — Shoppers packed the YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County’s gymnasium on Thursday as the Made in Kingston holiday market returned, featuring nearly 70 local makers and exhibitors.

The wares from the 68 exhibitors ranged from greeting cards and jewelry to plush toys, 3D-printed items and dog dishes to food and supplements.

Joanna Bliss, the event’s coordinator, said she was impressed that the event was already a packed house just minutes after the doors opened and before most people were off work for the day.

She said she was also impressed with the wide variety of exhibitors this year.

“We encourage everyone to shop local and buy something from a local maker who lives in Kingston.”
