A real-life Grinch was caught on video stealing packages from a porch in a Philadelphia neighbourhood, according to a resident who shared the footage as a warning to others.

“He had on a burgundy sweatsuit, and a green pillow case with packages, people’s packages in it,” said Audrey Johnson, explaining one of her packages was taken, per Philly’s Channel 6 ABC Action News .

In the video, a neighbour can be heard yelling at a man as he walks away. Johnson said she is hopeful that the video will remind folks to be vigilant as holiday deliveries ramp up over the coming weeks.

“He just need to get a job and find a life, ’cause that don’t make no sense. People work hard to get what they have,” Johnson said, per the outlet.
