JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — Over in Jacksonville, construction on Interstate 57 continues to cause headaches for nearby businesses.

Although the finish line is in sight, they're still feeling negative impacts.

Three businesses have closed in the past couple of months, and the lack of customers is part of the reason why.

Starbucks, Slim Chickens, and Roma Italian Restaurant have all shut their doors.

Jacksonville Economic Development Director Robert Birch said they're nearing the final stretch and expect it to finish next year.
