Kate Walsh is back on call at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

The Grey’s Anatomy alum is set to reprise her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery for an upcoming episode of the ABC medical drama’s 22nd season, according to series creator Shonda Rhimes ’ production company Shondaland.

Indeed, Shondaland confirmed the news on Instagram Dec. 4, writing, “We’re excited to announce the return of Dr. Addison Montgomery to Grey Sloan!”

Kate chimed in with her excitement, too, commenting alongside a heart-eyed emoji, “Here we go.”

After joining Grey’s Anatomy during season one in 2005, the 58-year-old remained a part of the main cast through 2007 before leaving the Ellen Pompeo -led series in season three to star in the spin-off series Private Practice . She
