U.S. Senate candidate Daniel Cameron , a leading Republican in the race to replace Sen. Mitch McConnell , is shifting his campaign team ahead of the May 2026 primary.
In a statement Dec. 4, Cameron's team confirmed campaign manager Taylor Zanazzi is "transitioning off the campaign at the end of the month," with Nathanael Hirt set to step into the role.
"We are grateful for his service and commitment during a critical phase of this race and wish him well in future endeavors," said Cameron, who served as Kentucky's attorney general from 2020 through 2023. "... Nathaneal brings strong leadership, strategic focus, and deep dedication to our mission. We're thrilled to have him guiding the team as we move into the next phase of this campaign."
