A Seattle attorney investigating an ethics complaint against Vancouver City Councilor Kim Harless has found no evidence to support most of the complaint’s allegations.
Vancouver resident Brad Erhart filed the ethics complaint Aug. 28.
In the complaint, Erhart accused Harless of abusing her positions as a city councilor and as the chair of the city’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee when she failed to disclose a romantic relationship with John Park, the director of Vancouver Arena . The local nonprofit had received nearly $30,000 in lodging tax grants over a three-year period to fund annual Pokémon GO events in downtown Vancouver.
