An anonymous “Secret Santa” donated $100,000 to Crossroads United Way, which will divide the money among five churches. Each church will select 80 families to give $250 to others as a random act of kindness. Crossroads United Way President Bill Purcell says the tradition started in 2009 and inspires families to help with medical needs, support people experiencing homelessness, or assist those struggling locally or abroad.
