Justin Darrel Cupps passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 at the hospital in Brownwood with his mom, brother, daughter and special friends by his side. A memorial service for Justin will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early.

Justin was born June 7, 1978 in Brownwood, to Sydney Lea Cupps and was raised with the help of grandparents, Darrel and Lucille Cupps and his uncle, Richard Cupps. At 2 years old Justin and Sydney joined Bob D. Burleson and his daughter, Bobbie Jo Burleson in marriage where Justin gained grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. When his grandmom Lucille died, he had 2 special great-aunts, Maggie Wells Leonard and Thelma Cupps, step in and treat him just like their own.
