A worker was killed in an incident at a radio tower at the Jersey Shore on Thursday in which two others had to be rescued, according to a spokesperson with the Atlantic City Public Safety Office.

Officials say that investigators think something fell and hit a worker at the tower in the Venice Park neighborhood of Atlantic City on Dec. 4.

The worker that was hit by the object died from his injuries, police said.

The two other workers who were there had to be rescued but declined to be treated or taken to a hospital, officials said.

According to officials, the workers were employed by a private company at the time when this incident happened.
