IDAHO - The Idaho Transportation Department has announced the winners of its second annual snowplow contest, where classrooms from sixth through twelfth grade across the state submitted creative names.
A total of 12 names were chosen from six districts, with each district selecting two names.
In North Idaho, names were chosen from the Mullan School District and Post Falls High School. Kristy Dykes, a teacher at Mullan Junior-Senior High School, submitted "Control-Salt-Delete."
Denae Glenn from Post Falls offered up the name "Snow-Bee-Wan-Kenobi."
In North-Central Idaho, JR Morrow from Genesee contributed the name "Blizzard Basher."
Ms. Mayes from Salmon River Junior-Senior High School submitted the classic name "Frosty."
