A 17-year-old was charged after he lost control of the SUV he was driving and it crashed into a Franklin County house that had two people inside last month, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The crash happened around 7:50 p.m. on Nov. 23 when the Franklin County teen, traveling north on Lemar Road in Peters Township, “understeered” a right curve and struck a roadside embankment, police said.
The vehicle, which also carried a 12-year-old passenger, then crashed into a home in the 2000 block of Lemar Road.
Two people inside the home, a 76-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man, suffered minor injuries after being hit by debris. One was transported to a hospital.
Police said the SUV came to a stop inside the home.
