SAN ANTONIO — The Kerrville Police Department on Thursday said they plan to release 911 calls made during the July 4 flooding disaster in that part of the Texas Hill Country, exactly five months after the Guadalupe River rose to dangerous levels during intense rain.

It's unclear when exactly the records would be shared, however, and KENS 5 has not yet received them.

The flooding swept away RVs, tore homes from their foundations along the river and resulted in legislative change this summer.

Officials said 119 people ranging in age from 1 to 91 years old died in the July catastrophe , including 27 young campers and staffer at Camp Mystic. The search remains ongoing for two people, including 8-year-old Cile Steward of Austin.
