CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa women’s basketball will be without one of their key locker room pieces for a while.

In a release, the team says that senior forward Jada Gyamfi is expected to miss the next three months of games after a medical procedure on her knee.

“Though this is an unfortunate setback for Jada, I know that while she rehabs, she’ll continue to be a great Hawkeye teammate,” said head coach Jan Jensen.

Gyamfi was a part of both National Championship appearances for Iowa in 2023 and 2024. She scored her three points this year in a win over Evansville.
