MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The Boston Red Sox completed a multi-player trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates Thursday night.
Boston's main return is starting pitcher Johan Oviedo, who made nine starts for Pittsburgh last year, going 2-1 with a 3.57 earned run average.
The Red Sox also received minor leaguers Tyler Amaniego and Adonys Guzman.

In exchange, Boston sent outfielder Jhostynxson Garcia and prospect Jesus Travieso to the Pirates.
Garcia, nicknamed “The Password,” made his major league debut last season, playing in five games.
