NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) - The Indiana State Board of Animal Health confirmed Thursday that bird flu was detected once again in 21Country.

The agency says the state’s latest case comes from a commercial duck meat farm in Noble County, where a flock of nearly 5,700 was impacted.

The impacted flocks have since been quarantined, with a 10km control area active in parts of Elkhart, LaGrange, and Noble Counties, and a 20km surveillance zone active in parts of Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaGrange, and Noble Counties.

In addition to the bird flu detected in Noble County, the Indiana State Board of Animal Health reported another case from a commercial duck meat farm in Elkhart County.

The impacted flock there totals approximately 5,200 and has since been quarantined, according to the agency.
