COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohioans spent 2025 searching for everything from music and concert tours to the latest slang and superstar athletes, according to Google’s new statewide “Year in Search” report .
Music dominated the state’s search habits. Like Cleveland’s top music searches , the state as a whole shared similar search history. Taylor Swift topped the list with “Wood,” a track from her 2025 output. Ohio listeners also gravitated toward “Golden” from HUNTR/X and “Ordinary,” the vulnerable single from creator-turned-artist Alex Warren. Jessie Murph’s “Blue Strips,” fueled by her rise as a breakout genre-defying vocalist, captured significant interest. Rounding out the musical category was “Your Idol” from the Saja Boys.
