Everyone can see that Jayden Daniels wants back into the action. The Northwest Stadium suites couldn’t hold him last Sunday night. As his Washington Commanders teammates made their late fourth-quarter drive against the Denver Broncos, then went all gutsy to try to win the game with a two-point conversion, cameras caught Daniels down on the sideline. He was both the Commanders’ biggest cheerleader, as well as the organization’s most impatient man.
Daniels, who has missed the last three weeks while recovering from his latest injury, wants to play. He has said so himself. We all can see that. But shouldn’t we also recognize the obvious? That there’s no way Daniels, the quarterback of this franchise’s future, should take another snap in this 2025 season.
