The Copenhagen boys basketball squad is poised to make some noise this season with a roster chock full of seniors.
Two of the seven seniors — Logan L’Huilier and Jacob Lawlee — each made immediate impacts in the Knights’ season opener against Poland on Thursday.
L’Huilier recorded his first career double-double, and Lawlee scored a career-high 25 points in Copenhagen’s 74-41 victory over the Tornadoes.

“We came out clicking on all cylinders,” Copenhagen coach Logan Spaulding said. “I’m happy with the energy tonight.”
L’Huilier finished with 17 points and 12 boards, along with five steals and two blocks. Lawlee tallied six free throws and grabbed seven rebounds.
