In a setback, even after DGCA’s warning, IndiGo cancelled more than 500 flights on Thursday from three major airports. It is learnt that the cancellations were due to the shortage of crew. The airline does not have enough crew because of new rules on pilots’ work hours and rest time.

This is the third day in a row that the airline is facing this problem. The situation got worse after the pilots’ association said the airlines were creating the crisis to put pressure on regulators.
