Did LeBron James retire? Explaining viral fake post after Lakers' superstar ends 10-point streak
LeBron James had scored at least 10 points in 1,297 NBA games in a row.
The Los Angeles Lakers ' superstar ended Thursday night with 8 points. He didn't reach game 1,298.
Social media, of course, was filled with LeBron chatter during and immediately after the game.
And naturally, someone decided to take advantage of the situation with some fake viral news.
Did LeBron James retire?
No, LeBron hasn't retired.
NBA Centel, the popular parody account, shared that news almost immediately when the game ended, as if it was real.
