Bridging Bionics receives $1.5 million grant
The Bridging Bionics Foundation has received a $1.5 million grant from an anonymous donor, including a $1 million outright gift to support the acquisition of the organization’s Center for Neurorehabilitation at 2605 Dolores Way in Carbondale.
The foundation announced the grant on Monday.
The gift ensures the nonprofit can continue providing affordable physical therapy and advanced technology to people with neurological mobility challenges, according to a news release. The remaining $500,000 will serve as a three-year matching challenge toward the new Bridging Lives campaign, which aims to support out-of-town clients seeking mobility programs.
