Rakul Preet Singh has opened up about the financial struggles her husband Jackky Bhagnani and his family faced after their production house, Pooja Entertainment, suffered three post-pandemic flop releases. The company, run by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky, had to lay off 80% of its staff and mortgage properties to cope with the losses.

Speaking on Humans of Bombay, Rakul emphasized that the media reports were exaggerated, and the company is not shutting down. She stated, "It was a very challenging time for the family and for him. But a lot of things said in the news weren't even correct. No company is shut".
