Pauri : Fear gripped a village in Pauri Garhwal on Thursday morning after a leopard attacked and killed 45-year-old Rajendra Nautiyal around 6:30 am. The incident has prompted urgent action from the administration, including school closures and wildlife monitoring.

Police and forest department teams rushed to the spot after receiving information. District Magistrate Swati S Bhadoria, local MLA Rajkumar Pori, and other officials visited the scene. The district magistrate met the victim’s family, expressed condolences, and assured them of full support.
