Mangaluru, Dec 5: The nationwide disruption in Indigo airline services affected operations at Mangaluru International Airport as well, resulting in the cancellation of 10 flights—both arrivals and departures—on December 4.

Flights to and from Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru were among those cancelled. While many passengers received alerts a few hours in advance and avoided coming to the airport, some who were informed at the last minute arrived only to learn about the cancellations, leading to arguments with airline staff.

In view of the severe disruption, the airport authorities have advised all passengers with advance bookings to verify the status of their flights before heading to the airport.
