BENGALURU: A 45-year-old Bengaluru software professional ended his life on Wednesday, accusing a local family and officials of the erstwhile BBMP, now Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), of driving him to suicide through harassment. Murali Govindaraju, a resident of Brookbong Layout in Whitefield and father of two young daughters, worked at a private software company in ITPL. He was found dead in his under-construction home in Nallurahalli on Wednesday morning. Police have arrested Shashi Nambiar (64) and his wife Usha (57) on charges of abetting the suicide. Their son, Varun Nambiar, is currently being sought by authorities. The couple was produced before a magistrate and remanded in 14-day judicial custody.
