The initial public offering of Vidya Wires is set to close for public bidding today, December 5. The maiden public issue of the wire-maker has been subscribed more than 13 times its offer size (1,348 percent) so far.

The IPO received bids for over 58.40 crore shares, as against an offer size of 4.33 crore shares, according to data on NSE at 11.36 am. Non Institutional Investors (NII) lead the subscription numbers, booking their reserved portion more than 21 times (2,142 percent)

Retail investors closely followed, booking their allotted quota around 17 times (1,694 percent). Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) have fully subscribed their reserved portion (134 percent).
