She said she has never allowed fear or insecurity to influence the films she picks. Aishwarya , who entered the film industry after winning Miss World, began her acting journey with Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film Iruvar, and shared how that decision set the tone for how she wanted to work in cinema.

She explained that many people around her expected her to make choices based on hype, timing or industry pressure. But she said that from the beginning, she chose films that felt right to her, even if they weren’t considered “big launches" or the most predictable next steps.
