Couldn’t resist Jabberwocky’s recent presentation of “Ban the Bans,” a reading of a one-act play by incoming City Councilors Sarah Hall and Mary DeLai, former Councilor Charlie Tontar, former Mayor Donna Holaday, and attorney Jared Hubbard.

Hubbard played several roles, including Martin Luther King, Howard Zinn, and James Baldwin, distinguishing them, not just with different hats that drew more than one round of laughter, but with dialogue adapted from the writings of each.
