Scotland are set to learn their three group stage opponents at next summer’s World Cup as the draw takes place in Washington DC.

The national team confirmed their return to the biggest stage of all for the first time in 28 years when they secured a place with the dramatic victory over Denmark at Hampden.

Steve Clarke’s men will know who they will play at the tournament, which is being held across North America, after the draw in the US capital on Friday.

World Cup 2026 will be the men’s national team’s ninth in total, and first since France 1998.

Qualification was secured thanks to a 4-2 win in the southside of Glasgow last month, sparking joyous celebrations throughout the country.
