Marianne D. White, age 73, of Laurium, Michigan, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025. Though she has left this world, her spirit continues to shine brightly in the lives she touched.

Born on Dec. 13, 1951, in Harrisville, Michigan, Marianne was the first born daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Kargela) White.

She graduated from Calumet High School in 1970 and spent time working in retail in both Laurium and Berlin, Wisconsin.

In 2004, Marianne met her soulmate, Ted R. Adiska, and together they shared 21 years of love, laughter, and companionship.

Marianne’s life was a tapestry of kindness, creativity, and joy. She was happiest surrounded by family, never missing a gathering if she could find a way to be there. Her love for animals was
