The note-taking apps environment is fairly cluttered now. While Evernote remains my personal favourite, UpNote is a simpler, and relatively more affordable. It has fast, reliable syncing and a clean, user-friendly interface that makes it a strong contender against more complex apps like Notion and Evernote.

Downsides to UpNote include limited file size for uploads and a lack of drawing tools; some users also note the absence of end-to-end encryption.
